Rapid Fire

Introduction:

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the rapid fire category, where legal knowledge meets quick thinking! In this round, contestants will face a series of rapid-fire questions covering various areas of law. Each question demands swift and accurate responses, testing not only their knowledge but also their ability to think on their feet.

 Number of Rounds in this Category: 2

All the questions in this category will be either from CIE A level LAW Syllabus (9084) or from relevant online sources. There will be no questions ranging above the A2 level. 

 Guidelines:

             Round 1:

➢ Any sort of rude behaviour, harassment or abuse will not be catered and that delegation will immediately be removed from the category. 

➢ THERE WILL BE A TOTAL OF 25 MCQ QUESTIONS and 2 rounds in this category. Only the top five teams will go into the second round.

➢ There is no time limit for this round as it’s a test of your quick responsiveness and agility. 

➢ This round will be catered on a first come first basis as whichever delegation raises their hand first to answer will be considered. In the case that a delegation states the wrong answer the other delegations will be given a chance to raise their hand as soon as the category head has declared that the previous answer was wrong. 

Remember to raise your hand and do not answer before you have been pointed at.

➢ You can give your answer by either stating the ALPHABET of the MCQ or say the correct answer out loud. It is YOUR CHOICE.

➢ In the case of any confusion or dilemma the decision of the category head will be final.

➢ Questions in this round will be divided into three sectionsranging from easy to extremely difficult. 

 Round 2:

 ➢ The top five teams will now compete in round 2 where their quick responsiveness and team working skills will be tested in a series of intriguing but brain hammering questions.

➢ The teams will have the ability to discuss with one another but using phones is strictly prohibited.

➢ Each team will be asked five questions each and will be given a total of max 20 seconds to answer each question. If they don’t answer immediately after their designated time is over they will not get any points.

➢ In the end all the points will be totalled and the team with the most points will win the category.
